Hey everyone, today's blog post is going to be about a maternity session I did for my sister. I am going to share some photos from the session, talk about how I found the location and any other random thoughts I have about that day. Anyways to start check out this first photo from the session.

Such an amazing sunset.

We were so blessed to have such a pretty sunset that day. Tori was a trooper because to get to this spot you have to walk up and downhill for about 15 minutes or so. I actually found this location a couple days before we did this shoot. I was out exploring with my son down at lake mead and we found this awesome area with a lot to offer for enjoying nature and for photos. I told my sister about it and she was down.  We went out to lake mead, down to this spot and first found this cool are full of random weeds that were green and we did some photos there to start.

My sister always looks good in photographs, I wish the same were true for me.

A little different editing then my typical style but I love this.

Love the color of the random desert weeds.

Also I did some new editing techniques to some of her photos that I really like and incorporate in some of my newer work. After shooting the weeds that actually turned out to be a very beautiful background we decided to get some of the lake in the background.

Love the sunset!!!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day!!!

The spot they are standing on here is actually covered in water again, I just went down the other day for some relaxation time and the water had risen quite a bit. This shoot was a lot of fun, I always like going out and doing pictures with my sister and her husband. We always have a great time, they are always down for any idea I might have. I am going to be going back out to lake mead and explore to hopefully find more gems like this area. If you know any places let me know I would love to hear about them and hopefully check them out some time soon.
